Advanced Courses
Applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
An advanced course that builds upon the concepts and skills in any of the 3 or 4 day courses above with a range of assembly situations, progressing to practising the selection of datums, dimensions and tolerances to the components of complete functional assemblies
2 days
2 days
Tolerance Stacks Analysis of Geometric Tolerances
An advanced course generally preceded as a minimum by one of the 3 or 4 day courses above. The course teaches the application of vector methods to calculate absolute worst case sizes, wall thicknesses, clearances, interferences, steps, protrusions etc. that may exist as a result of the applied geometric dimensions and tolerances. In addition the course also looks at statistical tolerancing.
Dimensioning and Tolerancing for Fixtures and Gauges
An advanced course generally preceded as a minimum by one of the 3 or 4 day courses above. The course teaches the application of constraint, datum selection, gaugemakers’ tolerances, gauging policy, and wear, in the application of dimensioning and tolerancing specifically for fixturing and gauges.

Other Courses
BS 8888/ASME Y14.5/ISO GPS Comparison
A comparison of any two or all three of the standards at both high and nuts and bolts levels. Useful when an organisation is working in more than one standard, adopting a new standard and thus undergoing a conversion, or when deciding upon which standard to select.
1 day
Reading Engineering Drawings
A course for non-engineering professionals working in engineering organisations e.g. scientists such as materials and sterility specialists, buyers, legal, regulatory, planning, and finance professionals.
